LJ Shopfitters started in 1983. That's 42 years of fitting out shops, cafes, restaurants, offices, and medical centres. We've watched the Sunshine Coast grow from a holiday strip to a proper region, and we've built fitouts for a good chunk of the businesses along the way.

Leo and Andrew run the company. They also run the jobs. You'll meet them at the quote, see them on site, and talk to them if anything comes up. That's not a marketing line. That's just how it works when the owners are trades first and business owners second. They'd rather be on the tools than behind a desk.

We work with local cabinet makers right here on the Sunshine Coast. We design everything, measure it up, and manage the build. Counters, shelving, display units, reception desks, cabinetry. Our local cabinetry people build it to our specs. No factories in another state. No specs sent off and fingers crossed. If a piece needs adjusting, it gets sorted that week.

Over the years we've built fitouts for Baker's Delight, Maleny Chocolate Factory, Greg Grants Saddlery, Good Feet Store, Elle B, Fernwood, and plenty of local Sunshine Coast businesses you'd recognise. We're proud of that list. But we're just as happy building a single counter for a new shop in Nambour.

We work with trusted local cabinet makers and trades right here on the Sunshine Coast. We design it, measure it up, and manage the whole project. Our local cabinetry people build to our specs. That keeps everything local, fast, and accountable. No factories in another state. No third-party suppliers you've never met.

42 Years Experience

We started in 1983. We've seen materials come and go. We know which products last and which ones fall apart after two years. We know how councils work, what building inspectors look for, and how to keep a fitout on schedule when surprises pop up. And they always pop up.

Local to the Coast

Our workshop is in Landsborough. Our crew lives on the Sunshine Coast. When you need us on site, we're not driving up from Brisbane at 4am. We're twenty minutes away. That means faster site visits, quicker turnarounds, and someone who actually knows the local councils and suppliers.
